Up to yesterday, I've not met half of my team face to face before. Remote Leadership during COVID-19 has become a new norm with many of us working from home. Throughout the circuit breaker period, I have faced several challenges from hiring the right person, remote onboarding without meeting face-to-face to motivating the team remotely. My team has been working remotely for the past few months and yesterday, we gathered for our first lunch get-together outside of our homes. We tend to take a few things in life for granted before lockdown...I have observed that we were overwhelmed with excitement with our face to face catch up. While we are getting better in navigating through remote working, there is still a significant difference between remote and face to face. Can't wait for our next lunch get-together!
