Celebrating Singapore Owned Businesses

As Singapore neared its 55th birthday, VKT dedicated the week to celebrating SG owned businesses. Despite being a young country, our little red dot has progressed to become the most competitive nation in the world. Many of our home grown businesses are likewise, having paved a way to global success in short amounts of time.


One such business is Charles & Keith, who, quite literally, have the world at their feet. Started in 1996, the shoes & accessories brand has expanded to more than 300 outlets worldwide, with a 20% stake acquired by luxury goods giant LVMH. From its positioning as “affordable luxury” down to its branding and customer experiences created in its omni-channel approach, it is no wonder that it has become an international success.
